The Gapyeong Municipal Chapter (head: Lee Byung-jae) of Gyeonggi-do visited the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan on November 8 with around 120 fourth grade students in Gapyeong Elementary School, teachers, and council members.

The children who went on the field trip had an opportunity to learn about the painful Korean War and the separation of the Korean Peninsula as well as feel the need for achieving peaceful unification by listening to the explanations by the guide on the historical background of the Korean War and watching related video clips.
