The Yongin Municipal Chapter (head: Hwang Shin-chul) of Gyeonggi-do hosted the “2016 Challenge for Yongin Citizens! Unification Golden Bell Competition” in the afternoon of November 12 at the gym of Shingal High School.

This event, which was prepared to gain correct understanding on the history of Korea and to create a unification mood for citizens, was participated in by around 450 citizens. Among the 100 people who reached the finals through the preliminaries, 10 were selected as winners. The Unification Award, the first prize, went to Park Jung-min from Idong-myeon, Cheoin-gu. “This was an opportunity to study the history of our country. The compassion of family members was remarkable,” he said.
