The Hawaii Chapter (head: Kim Dong-gyun) held a unification meeting with invited teachers from Korean language schools at Waikiki Resort Hotel in Oahu on August 6.

During the unification meeting, participants discussed not only the Hangul education but also the importance of right views on Korean people, mother country, and unification as well as measures on how to provide unification education at Korean language schools for next-generational education in the global era.

According to chapter head Kim Dong-gyun, this meeting was held to relay the importance of healthy security and peaceful unification in the Korean Peninsula to the Korean society of Hawaii, local society, and descendants.
