The Taiwan branch (Branch Chapter Head: Hwang Hui-jae) of the Southeast Asia Municipal Chapter held a special photo exhibit disclosing the status of human rights in North Korea last Apr. 11 ~ 20 at the Korea Plaza in Taipei. The photos show the actual circumstances of the political prisoner camps in North Korea, with 60 other photos depicting the real happenings in the country. Furthermore, the living conditions in North Korea were disclosed by Kim Hye-suk, who lived at the Bukchang prisoner camp for 28 years but succeeded in escaping from North Korea, and other North Korean refugees.
