Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly (Vice-chairperson: Seong Je-kyung) held a workshop for women council members of Gyeongnam Region on Nov. 27 and 28 at the Grand Hall of Bugok Education and Cultural Center, with 230 members in attendance.
The women's committee of Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly (Chairperson: Kim Eul-sun) invited Kwang Jong-mun, Principal of Hangyeore High School, Kim Yeong-ok, a North Korean refugee, and Professor Kang Dong-wan of Donga University to give special lectures for the attendees.
In addition, a culture lecture was given by Professor Kim Seong-sam, counseling psychologist at Daegu Haany University. Jo Mi-hwa, Chief of Gimhae Municipal Chapter’s women standing committee, and Kwon Gap-jeom, Secretary of Hamyang Municipal Chapter, reported their activities and introduced cases of unification movement in their areas.
Seong Je-kyung, Vice-chairperson of Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly, and heads of many regional municipal chapters attended the workshop. Hong Jun-pyo, governor of Gyeongnam, and Kim Oh-yeong, Chairman of Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly, encouraged the attendees.
