The Donghae Municipal Chapter (Head: Kim Hong-soo) of Gangwon-do hosted the "Love of Flag, Love of Nation" event for two days from October 8 at the Cheongok-dong Rotary area.

At this event, which was held in order to inspire national view, patriotism, and national pride by honoring Taegeukgi (national flag of Korea), the symbol of the country, and to instill the dignity of the flag among growing adolescents and citizens, old Korean flags that were brought were exchanged with new ones for free, and activities such as Taegeuk symbol face painting and drawing of Korean flags earned raves among the citizens.
