The Dalseo-gu Municipal Chapter (Head: Kim Ok-yeol) of Daegu hosted the "Joint Workshop with Sister Organization Buk-gu Municipal Chapter of Gwangju" at the Dalseo-gu Office on October 7, with around 80 people in attendance including council members and related public officials of the Dalseo-gu Municipal Chapter of Daegu and the Buk-gu Municipal Chapter of Gwangju.

At the workshop, Lee Tae-hoon, Mayor of Dalseo-gu, gave a welcome address, followed by an exchange of gifts between the two Chapters. "The cooperation between the two chapters has continued since 1999, so let us continue active cooperation in the face of North Korean provocations and various unfavorable circumstances in order to establish consistently the foundation for unification," said Kim Ok-yeol, head of the Dalseo-gu Municipal Chapter.
