The Singapore branch (Head Bong Se-jong) of South East Asia Municipal Chapter held the 1st Korean Unification Speech Contest on Nov. 8th at the Korean International School, where 200 Korean residents and Singaporeans attended, including Seo Jeong-ha, the Korean ambassador to Singapore.
Eight Korean students and 10 foreigners who passed the qualification rounds contended at the final round, and they enjoyed a dance performance by NUS K-Pop and a Taekwondo demonstration.
Yi Chae-won, who made her speech on “What I Want to Do When National Unification Is Achieved“ and Adrian Ho Si-yeong who spoke about “Peace through Development“ took the grand prize.
