The Jungnang-gu Municipal Chapter of Seoul visited Jeju-do from October 6 to October 7 with North Korean defector mentees for an exploration of history and culture.

The 38 mentors and mentees participating in this history and culture exploration shared information on history and culture through meaningful programs such as conversation with mentees in Saran-rooms (reception rooms), walking on the unification Olle Trail, language quiz, and writing of visit reports.

The defecting North Korean mentees who visited Jejudo for the first time said that it was a meaningful time looking over beautiful Jeju and sharing their thoughts with the mentors on the pain of war, security, and unification.
