The Seattle Municipal Chapter (Head Lee Su-jan) held on March 6 a church service praying for "patriotism" and "reunification" along with Washington State Korean American union of churches including Seattle, Federal Way, Tacoma, Olympia, and Vancouver. The services took place at Korean churches, with pastors in charge of each church respectively preaching about peaceful reunification and wishing for the reunification to come true in the near future in prayer.
Head Lee Su-jan and other executive council members attended the reunification prayer service at New Vision Church in Lynnwood. Succeeding to the mind of the March First Movement, they sincerely prayed for reunification to become a reality.
The United Presbyterian Church of Seattle and other Korean churches had a "concerted prayer" time and prayed for the reunification of the two Koreas and world peace as the tension of the Korean peninsula is at its peak due to reckless provocations using nuclear weapons and missiles.
The LA Municipal Chapter (Head: Im Tae-rang) held a "special prayer service for our nation" on March 6 at Dae Heung Presbyterian Church in South Bay. In this patriotic prayer, which was a cross-religious one, people of various religions such as Christian, Catholic, Anglican Church, Buddhism, and Won Buddhism participated for the sake of the wellbeing and advancement of the Republic of Korea and prayed for the peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula.
